Weekend Project

We have been looking for a bench for our front porch for awhile now and this weekend we found the perfect one. It was a little more rusty than I wanted but after looking at the prices of others I decided a little bit of elbow grease never hurt anyone. So we bought it, scrubbed it down with steel wool. Then I applied a couple of coats of brown rustoleum. Then went shopping for pillows and found these. All-in-all, we think it turned out pretty good!! I love little projects that turn out great.

That is one cute bench! I love spray paint, you can change the look of something completely. And the cushions are the icing on the cake. Great project!

Wonderful look. You will of course, need a pink pot now. One thing just leads to another, like cats.

LOL..I missed with the word verification and the next set starts with Cpr....you think they are trying to tell me something. Hope this one works.

Susie, a great project. The pillows brighten up the bench and the space. You will certainly appreciate it more because of all our hard work.

Some how, I missed getting you on any of my blog rolls-situation now remedied!
