Little visitors......

I took a little walk in the yard the other day to check on my blooms and was able to capture some pictures from my visit. This little guy was enthralled with my Mexican petunia.
He wasn't happy until he visited each and every bloom.

I love these little visitors to my garden. I've gotten to where I cannot go out into the yard without my camera. The other day I was concentrating so much on getting a picture that I didn't even notice the pesky little ants crawling over my feet. I guess that's what I get for wearing flip-flops. Luckily, I didn't get any bites from them.
This little guy was truly enjoying my Mystic spires salvia. He could of cared less about what was going on around him.
Luckily this little guy stayed still long enough for me to get a picture. I have about 3 different hummers that fight over this feeder. I wish I could get a picture of that.

I just love all the wildlife that visits my garden daily. Great picture of the hummer, I kept trying to get a picture of one at mine today and Spaz scared it off. :)

Im so glad to see that little bumble bee. Did you know they are disappearing? So sad. I'm sure they enjoy your flowers.

And all God's creatures said "yummy".

Welcome to the world of garden bloggers! I think I told you it was addictive and now the camera thing-yep you're here. Isn't it amazing how we went from just enjoying our gardens to 'have to take camera in case I see something I want to share with other garden bloggers!' I, too, am noticingall the little creatures more this year than before. Your little butterfly and the bee seem quite happy in your flowers and your hummer is beautiful.

P.G.-Sorry you didn't get your picture of your hummer. Tonight we had 4 hummers fighting over the feeder. They put on the best show!!!

Casey-Yes, I know the bees are disappearing which is really bad for the food chain.

Bec-You have to wonder just how "yummy" that is.

Beckie-Actually there are lots of times I just grab the camera no matter where I'm going. Don't want to miss a photo op.

I could spend all day watching the critters that visit our yard. The hummingbirds love to visit and I could sit and watch them all day.

There is a beautiful heron, that I am determined to get a photo of, before summer is over. When I took the dogs down to the lake today, there where a group of Canadian Geese, didn't seemed phased by us at all.

I never know what I will see, but I enjoy the adventure so.

Your pictures were a joy to look at.

Eileen-I'm glad you enjoyed my pictures. I really like trying to get the right picture. Unfortunately, I don't know lots about this digital and I do end up with lots of blurred shots.

I would imagine with a lake you would see all kinds of critters! Those Herons are beautiful birds. They have such a big wing span. There's a lake down the road from us and we see them there.

I've never heard of a Mexican Petunia. Is it a perennial? Love the hummer picture. I keep trying to get a shot of mine but no luck so far.

I love hummingbirds. I saw one the other day visiting my Lantana bed. I never have my camera when I need it. I've learned to live with that. LOL

I haven't seen any bees this year other than the carpenter bees which I had rather not see.

Flydragon-The Mexican Petunia is technically sold as an annual here but I am told it does come back. I have also been told it multiplies profusely. I have two planted so I am anxious to see what happens next year. I did see someone on another blog call it Wild petunia.

Eve-Ditto on those carpenter bees.
