Oh, I wish I was in the land of................Pansies???

Oh I wish I was in the land of Pansies. All times there are sweet and dandy! Come with me, come with me, come with me..........
To pansyland!!!Here's a few choices of colors we have in pansies this year.

Did you know that pansies are edible? I had to try a couple just to check the taste. Know what? They taste like a chalky mint. And you know why? Because they are in the mint family. So, next time you see some blooming, pinch off a bloom and give it a try!!

Love this post today Susie, I'm going to be humming this tune all day. lol Pansies are fantastic annuals for this time of year. The colors they come in are endless. They are wonderful additions to a salad or decoration for a cake.

I love pansies!!!!!!! I always buy them in the spring because they can be planted when it's still really cold out and you have a mass of instant color. And your photos are terrific as usual.

Such pretty pansies. I usually chose the darks rust colors or the almost orange ones for fall. The neat thing about them here is they will withstand some pretty cool temps and keep right on blooming.

I love pansies, and your photos are so beautiful. Wish I could pull up a chair and sit and take in the view all day. Such a happy flower. I went to a wedding once and they were in the salad. That was the first time I learned you can eat them. It was funny because all the people at the table couldn't figure out if they were suppose to eat them or if they were a decoration!!

Thanks for your kindness and support on my blog. Means so much.

Racquel-I'm glad you enjoyed my tune and post. Pansy colors are wonderful and cakes decorated with them are so pretty.

flydragon and Marmee-I'm glad you enjoyed my photos. Pansies do have the happiest little faces.

Beckie-I like to mix oranges and rusty colors together. That makes a great showing. I like how pansies just keep on blooming thru the cold.

Bec-That dark purple with yellow centers is very popular.

Eileen-I love the story of the pansy decorations. That's funny!

Meadowview-I have noticed the sweet smell they have. It's quite pleasant. I have not purchased these for my yard. Truthfully, I don't usually plant pansies. Last year I did just because I got two flats that were being thrown out.

I love your flower photos! I am planning a trip to the nursery on Tuesday for some pansies and some mums to spruce up my tired planters. I just love their sweet little faces!
