I had hoped to return sooner but I've not done such a great job. Sometimes I guess life just gets in the way. Or is it blogging gets in the way of life? Either way, I admit it, I've been bad. So, if anyone is still out there reading this blog, I thank you.
We've been blessed with some really pleasant weather for the last couple of weeks. This in turn has made it feel so much like spring and some of the plants are really looking "springish" with their new coats of color.I think the Bradford pears are prettier this year than they have been in a long time. They do stink but I think their blooms make up for it. And who doesn't love the daffodils? They give me such a wonderful feeling of spring not being too far away.Unfortunately this camellia is in my mil's yard and not mine. I've seen lots of camellias blooming now and they are beautiful. Maybe I need to get some.
Well I'm sorry I've been away for so long. Can't promise I'll be back on a regular basis. Right now I just have a lot on my plate.
Happy gardening everyone!

So, so glad to see you!! The Bradfords are beautiful this year...love the Ice Follie Daff and oh la la the Camellia! Your blog's new look is just gorgeous too.
Hi Susie! I'm always glad to see a post from you. :-) Your flowers are beautiful and so are those trees. It's not quite spring here yet, but it will be soon. Enjoy your weekend!
Hi there Susie,
I have missed you, but I knew you would be back eventually. Beautiful Daff and Camellia! The Bradford Pears are glorious here, too!
Welcome back, Susie! I can't believe all the spring blooms you have--we're still a few weeks away from any kind of blooms here. Even though the Bradford pears have their flaws, they do look beautiful in the spring.
No need to apologize for your absence; sometimes blogging has to be put on the back burner. I do hope you are busy in a good way.
Welcome back, Susie!!! It's so good to see you again. I hope you keep posting once in a while [though regular would be great!:)]
Love the sight of those blooming pear trees. As for the other blooms, even if the camellia isn't yours, they're both so stunning!!
Have a blessed weekend!

Welcome back!
It looks as if Spring has truly put in an appearance in your part of the world. We've seen a few daffodils in bloom in sunny locations, but not many. None of our daffodils are blooming yet. We're also waiting on the Bradford pears to start blooming.
So good to hear from you again! I hope all that is on you plate is good stuff or at least enough good to smother the not so good. A full life is a good thing.
So the ornamental pears smell bad? That's sorta weird. Or is it just you Suzie? I know there are flowers that everyone but me loves for their fragrance, paperwhites are top of that list.
Camelias must be spectacular there. They love to grow here but the rain often makes the blooms mushy brown quickly. My mother had a beauty but they had to plant it under her porch eave. Which also made it easy to pick the flowers from. We loved floating them in a bowl. Or maybe I did and she shared the experience with me.
Hope to see you again soon!
Welcome back I have missed you. Been dropping by ever so often to check on you. I love the Bradford pears, they are just beautiful,
this year..

Yay, Susie's back!!! We don't have color here yet... I'm hoping it will be soon.
Hope you are doing well!!
Blogging should NOT get in the way of life, so don't compromise there, please !
Glad to see a new post from you and know you are well. The trees in bloom are beautiful, you have trees in bloom there now ?!?
I hope your digging in the dirt is pleasant and profitable for you this year. ~
Our Bradford Pears are in glorious bloom now too! The forsythia too! Time to prune roses!
Glad you are back. Beautiful camellia. Daffodils just shout spring.
Glad to hear from you.
Hope this cold snap doesn't knock all the blooms off here in MS.....
Thanks for your comment on my post about Bluff Lake. We are going back soon and I will try to get some better pictures and post them.
Happy Spring!
I was actually thinking about you recently and wondered what you were up to. I'm glad to see you're enjoying some pretty weather. The pear trees really are beautiful!
Glad to hear from you Susie! Your spring pictures are beautiful!
Susie, so good to see you and wish to say there are more important things to life than blogging. ;) We have been busy too and especially with the gardening season and seed starting, I'm swamped and loving it; blogging less, but that's okay. Wishing you many beautiful and fragrant blossoms in the coming month. See you,.....whenever. :)
Hope all is well!!
I am happy to see a post from you. I am a bit behind on commenting and visiting but I wanted to say "hey" and that your flowers are gorgeous here!
Take it easy.
Glad to see you back Susie, I've been away myself. I'm loving your new blog design, so pretty. Thanks for sharing the spring signs in your area. :)
