Colors on Monday

Once it again it's time for colors on Monday. Today choice is brown. One morning I was sitting at the breakfast table when all of a sudden I hear a little birdie singing his little heart out.As I peeked thru the blinds I found this little wren. Of course I had to watch him for a little while. He just sang and sang.I think he was waiting on me to toss him some money for his performance. After a few minutes I guess he figured out he wasn't getting any so off he flew.

Oh well, I enjoyed his sweet song while it lasted.

Hope you guys are having a great brown Monday. Be sure to check other participants by clicking on my side bar "Colors On Monday".

Good morning, Susie!
I see you have a cute little wren, too. These little birds sing so loudly! I love to watch them and their quick antics! Nice Brown post!

Good morning Susie. Aren't they just another wonder of this world? I sit for hours and watch their behavior... so enjoyable.

Unfortunately, we appear to have gone directly into fall, rain and cool evenings and our mass of little feathered friends seem to have gone somewhere else. Strange year. Hope your week is a great one.

Wrens can sing some of the most beautiful songs. But I must admit that in your third picture he looks a little disappointed that he didn't get a tip!

A personal performance by such a cute little brown wren. Lucky you! Nice photos. Happy Color Monday to you.

Oh...really like your music! Little River Band is one of my all time faves. (Cool Change was my theme song for years before coming to Christ!!)

This is a sweet choice for brown, Susie. I would have chosen my dry garden:)

Just read your post about the skunk intrusion--oh my! I know about tomato juice for dogs, but have no idea about a house or a car. I hope you find a solution soon!

Hi Susie

I always know when there's a little wren in my garden as even from behind double glazed windows I can still hear the piercing sound of its lovely chorus. Thats a really good photo of a wren - I've never managed to get a photograph of one yet in my garden this year.

My submission to Jen's mini meme is on my Centre of Interest blog - (fuzzy wuzzy caterpillars)

Ahh, so cute. I have noticed the wren's singing is unlike any other. It's almost like it's pining for a lost mate. Sometimes they land on my deck and do the same thing...for long periods of time. They are adorable.

Sweet picutes. I love wrens. They are all around our house. We try to keep the feeders full for them, if the chipmunks stay away.!!!

They do have a happy song don't they and they build nests all over the place.
