Worth Repeating

I just received a newsletter from a local church that has the best story so I thought I would share. Hope you enjoy.

How to Part Your Hair with Attitude

A lady woke one morning, looked in the mirror, and noticed that she had only three hairs on her head. "Well", she said, "I think I'll braid my hair today." So she did and she had a wonderful day.

The next morning she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed she had only two hairs on her head. "Hmmm," she said, "I think I'll part my hair in the middle today." So she did and she had a great day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that she had only one hair on her head. "Well," she said, "I think I'll wear my hair in a ponytail." So she did and she had a grand day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and saw that there wasn't a single hair on her head. "Yea, she exclaimed. "I don't have to fix my hair today."

Attitude is everything! -author unknown-

It's true, isn't it? Our attitudes make or break us. It's up to us to choose.

Hope you are having a great day!

I like this, Susie. It really is up to us to decide how we want to look at life. We can either choose a positive attitude or a negative attitude, but we still get to choose.

Amen, Susie.... That's one of my favorite sayings: "Life is all about Attitude." We have ups and downs in our lives --and how we manage these ups and downs comes down to our attitude.

Hugs,
Betsy

That little story tells it all, except what God has given you and make it best of it.
Thanks for stopping by my blog, I think everyone agrees it is a Finch...some have a little yellow on them but this one is nearly all yellow. He comes to see me every day and bring the sunshine with him.
Hope you day is filled with a little sunshine.

I like that story a lot! Thanks for sharing it... it really helps when we assess our OWN attitudes. I think I need an adjustment sometimes.
Love this buggy design, you chose well.

Susie it is all about attitude! Do I see a gray day or do I see a day with wonderful possibilities? Each morning we awake the first things we say are "good morning... I love you... so thankful...". It changes everything. Great post! Have a wonderful week my friend. Diana

I think I have read this before, but it's certainly something that's worth reading again and again. The right attitude is so important. Too often I find myself frustrated or feeling sorry for myself over small things, and then I see or read about someone who is going through REAl problems, yet facing them optimistically. That's when I do a serious attitude adjustment. Hope everything is going well with you!

LOL, I'm afraid I might have attitude too, but more of the hysterical kind:) Oh well, guess we could always buy a wig.

My attitude toward male pattern baldness changed when my kids called that area "daddy's bob spot." It changed again several years later when I heard singer/songwriter John Hiatt refer to his "bob spot" as a "solar sex panel."

In "Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes" Jimmy Buffet sings:

It's these changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes
Nothing remains quite the same
With all of our running and all of our cunning / If we couldn't laugh we would all go insane.
