Do ya'll remember my post about the butterfly patches my grandmother made? If not, or you are new to my blog, that post is dated Oct. 27, 2008. Any way this is what I came up with. Many of you gave me great ideas and I thank you for them.

I originally thought I would hang it in one of the spare bedrooms but since I never go in those rooms(much) I decided to hang it in the hallway. Yes, I know that is a pretty bland wall; another paint project, waiting to happen.

Yes, I remember and I LOVE what you have done with the two frames! What a special reminder as you go about your day to see that butterfly. Butterflies are very special to me too and I am just so thrilled that you shared this with us.

What a neat idea!! I love old quilts... and the fact that you have these peices that your grandmother cut with her own hands is (like the commercial) priceless!!! I went back and read your back-post and loved the poem you wrote for it as well.

Susie, the butterfly and poem look great in the hall. I'm glad you decided to put it where you can see it often. You will enjoy it there. Thanksgiving Blessings to you and your family!

What a great idea - framing the pieces like that! I don' think I ever would have tried that, but it looks perfect!

Mildred-I was happy to share with you. My grandparents were very special to me and I love telling stories about them.

Jacquie-These are priceless to me anyway. I wouldn't take anything for them.

Darla-It is fun to see them from the living room instead of away where I couldn't see them.

flydragon-Thanks girlie!!

Jen-I'm glad you enjoyed the poem.

Dorothy-I'm really glad I decided to hang it in the hall. It will look better with some paint behind it though.

Meadowview-Thanks my grandmother was a very special lady. I have wonderful memories of her.

Terri-Glad you liked my idea.
