I been checking on the cocoons and so far they all seem to be snug in their little bedsacks. When I sit back and think about it I am utterly amazed with what is going on inside those little cocoons. Life really is a miracle in itself.
I found this one snuggled up in my Mexican Bush sage. Took me a while to find him. They are all so camouflaged I have a hard time finding any of them.This morning I went out to clean out some old tomatoes that were way past their prime and found another cocoon on a tomato stake. He isn't camouflaged so good so I'm hopeful he doesn't disappear.

I can't wait to see all those cocoons hatch. How exciting! I keep checking my milkweed, haven't seen anything yet. Maybe I need to really study it with a magnifying glass, lol.
Oh wow! I can't wait to see the variety of beautiful butterflies that you'll have. That's so great!
