Check this out!

Now I don't know how many of you folks shop here but I don't. But the other day we were passing thru this favorite shopping area and I noticed this neat store front. At first glance one might see nothing special. Come on, let's take a closer look. What have we here? I heard two girls say, "Hey mom, it has weeds growing out of it". Nah, take another look.I believe you would call this sedum and lots of it. I placed my camera right against the wall and shot upward. Is this not beautiful?I thought it was just gorgeous. How cool would it be if more stores did this?!?!? I don't know if you noticed or not but the outer metal part with the name on it is stamped with birds. This is definitely a cool store!

  1. I have seen a few bloggers mention shopping here but I never have and sure have not seen a store as cool as this one. How cute with the birds and the sedum! Thank you for sharing the photos.

  7. TC-It's actually an "i". They sell some really hip looking clothes. That probably explains my "not so hip" look! lol;)

  9. Wow!!! I have to bring my husband in to see this! That's one of those hanging living tapestries he photographed at the garden show. He wants to do one on a huge open side of our house with sedums. That's thinking outside the box!
Thanks for taking your camera shopping and snapping the photos!

  11. Susie, how very unusual. Looks like a very 'green' store and one to check out. No telling what neat ideas they have inside. :)

  13. I did shop there once, when on vacation. bought a pretty smocked top there to bring back to my daughter. It was from the sale rack because their clothes are pretty expensive. I love sedum. I have a couple in my yard.

  18. This is wonderful.... thank you for sharing. We don't have any of these shops in my neck of the woods. I remember a few years back visiting a couple of greenhouse growers who supply and design these live roofs. WAY COOL!!!!!

Happy Mothers Day weekend to you dear friend in the garden.

  19. Very cool Susie!!

Hope your neck is feeling better! I came in with a neck full of some strange bites last week. They aren't mosquito bites, but red spots that itch like crazy. Speeking of mosquitos...they are going to be awful here this year. With the wet lands behind us and all the flooding we have had, It's going to be a difficult summer for gardening!!

    Have a nice weekend!
