Silent Sunday

  1. You got that today didn't you? We thought we might have a flurry, none so far. It's mighty cold here right now though, windchill in the 30's. Covered tender plants and seedlings after church!!

  3. I thought that you might have gotten some snow, Susie.. It went straight down through West TN --and to Miss. and Bama---and on to Ga.. It missed us almost totally. We just got a tiny bit this time. But it's cold here--only 28 today.

    Hope you enjoy your snow.
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  4. Cool dots. Hearing a different sort of voice today than I am eh? Wind, as refreshing as twittering little birds. Enjoy your Sunday and your surprising weather. We had our freaky snow on Thursday and now we're to have sixty degrees today. Can't wait for one of those lushious spring days where we have rain, snow, bright warm sun, hail, lightening all in one little day, those ones always amaze me!

  6. Darla-Yes girl we woke up to this. But later the sun came out and so did Mr. Windy. It's freezing out there right now. I'm hibernating for the day!

Deedee-No, no baking today. However a good movie and a nice spot of tea sounds really inviting. But then again my hubbie is in bed right now taking a nap and that is mighty tempting!

Betsy-I can't believe you didn't get lots of snow. I surely thought it was headin your way. We have freezin weather here too! Brrh!

Lanny-I'm glad you like my dots! Yeah, I'm not hearing your loveliness. When we first got up this a.m. we almost didn't go to church. My hubbie is sick again and I guess I was looking for any excuse not to get out in the cold. But we braved it and went. Now I think I will hibernate the rest of the day.

Thanks Kanak-Oooh girl I wish you could of had one of my yummy muffins. They are delish!

  10. Hi Susie, We are having the same - only difference is that Harriet has never seen snow and is barking at it!

  11. Racquel-You better hold onto your hat cause the wind is really going to blow. Brrrh! It makes it so chilly!

Thanks Jen, the garden path will look much better(I hope) in a month or so. Yeah those wind chills are tough! Stay warm!

Elise-Looks like lots of people got more of that white stuff. Ours is pretty much gone now which is okay with me.

Mildred-That's funny about Harriet. She's probably wondering what in the world is that?!?!?

  12. It looks like you got about as much snow as we did here on the Plateau. I tried to do some chores outside this afternoon but it is just too darn cold!

  13. Now you've gotten snow! It seems like a lot of people are getting one last round of snow this past week. Hopefully it'll feel like spring soon!

  16. I've been hearing the weather reports about snow down South. Wow, this must be quite unusual for you, Susie. We had snow flurries and cold temps with a biting wind, but nothing out of the ordinary for us on March 1. I would like one of those muffins, though, if you have any left:)

  17. Brrrr--looks like your March is coming in like a lion! I think that means it goes out like a lamb..so hopefully you'll see signs of spring really soon!

  18. Same here! Go away snow go away!!!

  19. George-That cold wind will keep you from doing much at all outside. Hibernation sounds good.

Catherine-We got just a little but now it's gone which I'm very glad of.

Jacquie-Yep, it made it all the way down here. There wasn't any build up on the roads here either so we were able to get out.

Terri-It was a pretty chilly day. At least we have some sunshine today.

Rose-Yes, the rare snow made it down here. It's gone now tho. I do have some of those muffins left. I'll be sure to eat one for you.

Linda-It's still cold but at least the sun is shining today! Yippee!

Bec-Yes, Ms. Snow needs to go away!
