Welcome to my front door......

After viewing everyone's fall pictures I decided to spruce up my front porch. It's embarrassing to admit but usually I don't do too much at all in terms of decorating. This week my mom has been here visiting and she helped make the pillow covers. Honestly, she did most of the work and they turned out really cute! Now, I am a lot more happier with my front entrance.

  8. Marmee-Yes, moms are wonderful. I only get to see her 2-3 times a year. Thank you for saying my front entry looks welcoming.

Racquel-Mom can do lots of things like that. And she's an excellent cook. She fixed homemade yeast rolls and cinnamon rolls today.

Beth-I'm not a big fan of marigolds but they have wonderful color for fall.

Things here right now are good! The weather is starting to cool some but we haven't had much rain at all. My husband said Ike must of took all the rain with him when he passed by us.

I'm really glad to hear from you. I thought about you yesterday a.m. while watching the weather channel I think it said Fargo was 43 degrees. Enjoy the nice fall weather!!!

  11. Don't be embarrassed about a lack of decorating. Days get busy--I'm lucky to have meals prepared and clothes washed some times.
And, no matter how I try, the seasons pass faster than I can keep up.
I may have jack-o-lanterns smiling through the snow of a Christmas eve!

    Looks purty!
