It is known here as resurrection fern. It will curl up and turn brown, look dead, until rain comes and then it will unfurl and turn a beautiful green like is seen on the tree in your photo. It is actually a tree fungus but it is very pretty. We have it on several trees here, including the one right outside my dining nook window. I imagine that it might stay green in that area because there is a lot of water.Sandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01705378309728984562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1795387901232045644.post-76286213064673560502009-01-06T14:13:00.000-06:002009-01-06T14:13:00.000-06:00G4L-I'm glad you enjoyed the swamp pictures. I love to find little places like this to explore. My leg is doing much better(no pain at the moment). I'm just concerned what will happen when I start exercise again.

Jacquie-Sorry you are back into the "cold" again. I guess that is to be expected. Swamp and beauty didn't use to fit into the same sentence for me. I'm glad now they do.

Beckie-The no exercise is tough especially with this warm spell we've been having. I have been able to piddle in the yard some. That's helpful.

Rose-I'm glad you enjoyed the "swamp" tour. We didn't want to see a gator up close and personal.
